Mandra Tavern

Description:

A "Mandra" was built with stone in their natural shapes. It consisted of a yard that usually contained divided areas on different levels. There was also a covered area where the villagers used to stay in the evenings and where they used to keep their dairy products This tavern used to be one such place, its basic character, as can be observed, has been retained. Only a few additions and alterations have been made and this only so that our guests can enjoy the traditionally prepared meals in a comfortable environment.
